Virechana or Virechana Karma is a purification therapy and one among the five sacred, healing therapies of the Panchakarma.
It is a medicated purgation therapy aims at purifying the entire body, It is used mainly for 'pitta' disorders. This requires pre and post procedures regimes for proper detoxification, and cleansing.

TREATMENT
The Virachana therapy is medicated purification therapy, cleansing the body from excess pitta accumulation, purifying blood and clearing toxins. The therapy primarily concentrates on the toxins accumulated in the liver and gall bladder, thus cleansing the gastro-intestinal tract completely.
